The most delicious jagerschnitzel I've ever had. It was cooked to perfection and covered in a creamy mushroom sauce, served with scalloped potatoes. SO good! My friend ordered the pork knuckle and that looked pretty good too. I can't wait to fly back to Frankfurt just to come here! ”

“ During my German trip, i was expecting to run into other Asian. What i didnt expect, was that i am gonna run into this many Asians. For 2 times, i visited Frankfurt from Darmstadt. After walking around the city for a bit, i decided to have lunch. Römer Pils Brunnen caught my eyes. Interesting old German style restaurant front. Once i entered, the interior and waiting staffed were just as my imagination. But what i didnt expect, was that now i am SURROUNDED by Asian tourist. Japanese, Taiwanese, Mainland Chinese pretty much occupied most of the tables. I ordered wurst and bier. and they tasted just as expected. Flavorful and filling. I had a wonderful dining experience. “ Small and cozy with good ambiance. Horseshoe shaped bar in the middle of the restaurant that is a good spot if you forgot or couldn't get reservations. We walked in about 10 pm and they were closing in an hour so I'm not sure the business hours are completely correct on Yelp. Typical Authentic German spot with a dark and Pilsner beer on tap. Food is solid and the Shweinshaxen was outstanding. Probably the best I've had anywhere. This time around I had the Schnitzel with peppercorn gravy and fried potatoes, both good as well. I wouldn't necessarily call this place a dive but it is small and intimate with great food, cold beer and good service. Highly recommended! ”
